SMS Messaging Policy

Program description
CallGuard sends text messages on behalf of local home service businesses (plumbing, HVAC, electrical). You will only receive messages from us if you first called one of these businesses: when a call cannot be answered, we text you to collect your service request, confirm details about your job, and let the business follow up. Message frequency varies with your conversation, typically 2 to 8 messages per service request.
Opt-in
By calling a participating business and not completing your call, or by replying to our messages, you consent to receive service-related text messages about your request. We never send marketing messages and we never message people who have not contacted a participating business first.
Opt-out and help
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at [email protected].
Fees
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. CallGuard does not charge message recipients.
Privacy
Phone numbers and conversation content are used solely to fulfill your service request with the business you contacted. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing. See our privacy policy.
